A BIT MORE ABOUT THE PTFA

The Langton Boys’ PTFA (Parents, Teachers & Friends Association) is a registered charity (810298) run by volunteer parents, carers and staff.

Our purpose is to raise funds that enhance students’ learning, wellbeing and opportunities, and to strengthen the connection between families and the school community.

Membership

All parents and carers of pupils at the school are automatically members of the association.

Our Aims

  • To raise funds that support educational, wellbeing and enrichment projects.

  • To provide resources the school budget cannot cover.

  • To bring parents, carers, staff and supporters together through events and volunteering.

  • To ensure fundraising is transparent, responsible and aligned with school priorities.

What We Do

We raise funds for the “extras” that benefit our pupils: equipment, enrichment opportunities, events and experiences that add to their time at school. Examples include:

  • picnic benches

  • gazebos

  • guest talks

  • F1 team funding

  • VEX robotics team funding

  • etching machine for the Art Department

  • Biology GENE technology sponsorship

  • National Theatre visits

  • and many more

We work in partnership with the school to ensure funds are used where they make the greatest impact.
